INTERBALL is the solar-terrestrial programme aimed to study various plasma processes in the Earth magnetosphere by the system of spacecraft consisting of Tail probe and Auroral probe, two pairs (satellite-subsatellite) above the polar aurora and in the magnetospheric tail respectively.
