An Elasmotherium on the ancient steppe of what is today Southern Russia.
Characterized by a single massive horn (up to 6 feet long), Elasmotherium was a giant herbivorous mammal active in Eurasia about 1 million years ago. Related to modern rhinos, Elasmotherium was more massive, standing about 8 feet tall at the shoulder and up to 26 feet long and weighing over 3 tons.
