The Pelican nebula

The Pelican nebula is located a few degrees east of the bright star Deneb in the constellation Cygnus the Swan, about 1,800 light-years distant from Earth. Composite of data coming from 2 different plates taken at Palomar Observatory between 1990 and 1993.
