Halley's Comet on April 10 1986 in the region of the Scorpius Milky Way.
The comet is located here just southwest of the Scorpius Jewel Box and IC 4628. Bright star clouds in this region made Halley's tail difficult to distinguish from the background. Antares and the Rho Ophiuchus region is at upper left, and the Milky Way is punctuated by numerous red emission nebula as well as sweeping clouds of obscuring dust.
