Globular clusters M9 and NGC 6356 in Ophiuchus

Globular clusters M9 (NGC 6333), on the right and NGC 6356, on the top. M9 is one of the nearer globular clusters to the center of our Galaxy. NGC 6356 is two times distant from us, at about 50 000 light years.
