Supernova remnant IC 443 in Gemini

IC 443 is located near the star Eta Geminorum (also known as Propus, the brigth star on left) at about 5000 light years from Earth in the constellation Gemini. IC 443 is the remain of a supernova occured some 30,000 thousand years ago.
