M105 (right) is a type E1 elliptical galaxy and the brightest member of the Leo I galaxy grouping. The entire group is about 37 million light-years away. Also visble are galaxies NGC 3384 (left), which is part of the Leo I group, and NGC 3389 (bottom), which is a more distant background galaxy.
