Solar pillar

A solar pillar is created by the reflection of a sunlight (when sun is at or low to the horizon) on the horizontal face of ice crystals. So, a quiet atmosphere is needed in order that this cristals stay parallel to the horizon.June 16 2006, Brittany, France.
