ESA astronaut Pedro Duque, from Spain, practices in the Soyuz TMA simulator during a training session at the Gagarin Training Center, also known as Zviezdny Gorodok ("Star City"), near Moscow, in July 2003, in preparation for his flight to the International Space Station (ISS) in October on Soyuz TMA-3 for the "Cervantes" mission. Next to him is Russian mission commander Aleksandr Kaleri. The third man of the crew (not visible here) is NASA's Michael Foale. During this preliminary training session, the crew is not wearing the Sokol pressure suits it will actually wear during the launch and reentry phases.
