NGC 6188 is a red emission nebula located in southern constellation of Ara, about 4000 light years away. Inside of it, a young 3 millions year star cluster, NGC 6193. The hottest stars of the cluster, two closely spaced O-type giants HD 150135 and HD 150136, (the bright stars in the image) are the illumination source of the emission nebula. Bottom left is the nebula NGC 6164.
